Kamara: Beating Tottenham changes everything for Man United

There’s no doubt which Premier League game tops the bill this weekend with Liverpool and Manchester United set to go toe-to-toe at Anfield on Super Sunday.

Both clubs are fighting for a top-four berth and given their scintillating form heading into this latest clash it looks like we’re in for a mouth-watering encounter.

Ahead of kick-off we asked Chris Kamara for his thoughts on the big match.

“It’s a wonderful game to look forward to. Liverpool are on a fantastic run and Man United have hit form at the right time just as we thought they might” he told Ladbrokes News.

The hosts’ last defeat in the Premier League was a 3-0 hammering at the hands of their arch-rivals back in mid-December.

Since then Brendan Rodgers’ side have won 10 of their subsequent matches as part of a 12 game unbeaten run that sees them just two points off United in fourth.

The Red Devils’ run of six victories in their previous eight league games has also caught the eye.

However, the Old Trafford outfit’s return of just four away wins this term doesn’t bode well ahead of their trip to Merseyside.

But according to Kammy it’s United’s most recent result and performance that should dispel any concerns.

“You can’t keep performing poorly and get results as United had been doing prior to their win against Tottenham. They turned things around against Spurs with a fantastic performance and result” he added.

“Because of the way LvG’s boys played last week I think they’ll have renewed confidence and their poor away form won’t be playing on their minds.”

The visitors are 11/4 to pick up all three points while Liverpool are the 11/10 favourites and the draw is priced at 12/5. Plus, it’s Money Back if both teams score!*
