Ipswich have Champions League company in enhanced treble

Another bumper week of midweek matches brings with it another chance to clean up on multiples and accumulator bets, starting with Tuesday’s Champions League and Football League action.

As always, Ladbrokes have given their customers a helping hand when it comes to the best odds, by taking the decision to boost the price of the below three teams all to win from 11/4 to 7/2.

Here’s how each side’s chances of victory stack up:

Atletico Madrid to beat Bayer Leverkusen

Diego Simeone’s side entertain their German rivals in the second leg of the Champions League round-of-16 clash trailing 1-0.

However, Atleti have prevailed in 20 of their last 22 European games at the Vicente Calderon. They have also only lost once in their last nine outings there, which was to Barcelona, while Leverkusen have won just once in three on the road.

Ipswich to beat Bolton

The Tractor Boys’ promotion push stalled at the weekend as they lost 4-1 to fellow chasers Middlesbrough, but they should quickly regain momentum against a Wanderers side that is on a five-game losing streak on the road.

Considering that Mick McCarthy’s side are the third-best home side in the division, a victory for the boys in blue looks a formality.

Bristol City to beat Crewe

Another side looking to cap a fine season with promotion is Bristol City, who top League One by a mammoth 11 points.

That lead has largely been built on a recent six-game unbeaten stretch in which they’ve drawn just once. There should be few problems for the Robins stretching that good form when Crewe arrive at Ashton Gate. The Railwaymen have just one win to their name in their last six.
