Hitman Treble: Rhodes joins boosted Champions League duo

Diego Costa celebrates scoring against Swansea in the Premier League

Jordan Rhodes’ dream of playing in football’s biggest competitions may have veered off course this season but the Blackburn Rovers striker is rubbing shoulders with some Champions League stars thanks to Ladbrokes’ latest Price Boost.

The Rovers hitman joins Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandwoski in the bookmaker’s latest Hitman Treble, which sees the trio boosted from 8/1 to 10/1 to score this week.

Read on to see why this is one treble you won’t want to miss.

Diego Costa to score v PSG

Costa is enduring something of a lean spell at present, having gone six games without a goal, but that run has to come to an end sometime and with Champions League progression up for grabs the Spaniard has all the motivation he needs.

Chelsea’s main man has netted 18 goals in 33 games this season and with the Blues playing in front of a partisan Stamford Bridge crowd goal number 19 should be on the cards.

Robert Lewandowski to score v Shakhtar

Lewandowski has attracted some criticism since switching Borussia Dortmund for Bayern but with 17 goals in 35 games this season he’s clearly still a force to be reckoned with.

The German is in good form too, netting three goals in his last four outings, so he’ll fancy himself at home against the Ukrainians.

Jordan Rhodes to score v Bolton

Rhodes’ chances of firing Blackburn into play-off contention look slim now but it’s not for a lack of trying on the striker’s part.

The Rovers ace has netted 13 goals this season, including four in his last seven appearances, and with three goals in five meetings with the Trotters he looks well placed to add to his tally here.
