Euro 2016 Hitman Treble: Spurs, PSG and Juventus boys boosted
Ahead of the next round of Euro 2016 qualifying fixtures, the good people at Ladbrokes have taken three likely scorers, each of whom are priced at 1/1 or less, and bundled them into a boosted hitman treble that will pay out at 6/1 (from 9/2) if it lands.
We’ve got the young Englander everyone’s talking about, a bone fide 30-goal-a-season man and one of Serie A’s in-form forwards waiting to signal profits. Step right up…
England v Lithuania – Harry Kane @ 4/5 to score at anytime
It’s not yet clear whether Spurs’ 21-year-old revelation will start at Wembley, but after finding the net 29 times for his local team since Mauricio Pochettino took over at the club, Kane will only need a sniff to score.
Three Lions gaffer Roy Hodgson is sure to give him at least half an hour against the 94th-ranked team in the world, so this part of the treble looks safe.
Moldova v Sweden – Zlatan Ibrahimovic @ 5/6
Football’s most obnoxious entertainer has been in predictably good form in Ligue 1 since being sent off for Paris Saint-Germain away to Chelsea in the Champions League earlier this month, with a brace and a hat-trick bagged in two domestic fixtures over the past fortnight.
Zlatan also scored Sweden’s only goal last time out away in Group G, in the 1-1 draw with Montenegro, and has a better than one-in-two strike rate for his country, so Moldova should be very afraid.
Spain v Ukraine – Alvaro Morata @ 1/1
After a slow start to his time with Juventus, bagging just four goals in his first 20 appearances, Morata has redressed the balance somewhat of late.
The former Real Madrid man holds a one-in-two strike rate over his past 14 outings for the Serie A champions, and seems certain to play a significant part in his country’s clash at home to Ukraine, with Chelsea’s Spa-zilian forward Diego Costa feeling the hamstring strains only an international break can bring.
Despite never scoring for Spain before, the 22-year-old is favourite to notch at Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, which suggests he’ll be in from the off.
