England, Sweden and Spain all to win looks a no brainer

International week can extract the odd yawn from football fans, but the perfect way to jazz things up on a Friday night, other than karaoke, is to have a little wager.

This is especially true when you assess the latest enhanced treble on offer from Ladbrokes, which has profit written all over it.

The firm have enhanced the price on a treble containing wins for England, Spain and Sweden from 10/11 to the right side of evens at 5/4.

Each match is previewed briefly below.

England v Lithuania

The fact that Ladbrokes price up the Three Lions as 1/9 favourites for a fifth successive win in Group E tells you Roy Hodgson’s men are the absolute bankers of this treble.

Playing at Wembley against minnows Lithuania, who’ve already been thrashed 4-0 by Switzerland on their travels, it is a question of how many, not if for England.

Spain v Ukraine

Although world champions Germany inflicted a first home defeat on Spain since 2006 in a friendly last time they played, La Roja will be keen to get back to winning ways in qualifying.

Spain are rock solid at home in qualifiers, where Macedonia were trounced 5-1 before Belarus went down 3-0 in Group C, while their next opponents were held by Lithuania in a friendly last time they were spotted in November.

Moldova v Sweden

The whipping boys of England’s last World Cup qualifying campaign are staying true to their mantle in Group G of Euro 2016 qualification.

They entertain second-place Sweden rooted to the bottom of the table on a solitary point having lost to Liechtenstein 1-0 at home in their last qualification game.
