Easy run through to Euro 2016 for England a peach of a bet

Published:

With four wins from four matches, it’s fair to say England are well on their way to qualification for Euro 2016 at a canter, despite being less than half-way though their preliminary campaign.

And with Lithuania the Three Lions next opponents, the hosts could be set to fill their boots at Wembley.

However taking Roy Hodgson’s men to triumph at 1/8 does little to inspire, so taking advantage of Ladbrokes’ England specials looks the way to go before it’s too late.

The bookmaker is offering odds of 8/15 that Rooney and Co. go unbeaten throughout qualifiying, while it is 7/2 that they take three points in each of their six remaining ties.

Let’s face it; victory on Friday should be assured.

Lithuania have not scored in three international matches, and despite the fact they managed to hold Ukraine to a 0-0 draw, with England netting 12 in their last four, their resolve will really be tested in London.

So, one down, four to go.

Goals from Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck were necessary for England to seal the three points at Wembley when they faced off with Slovenia back in November, after Jordan Henderson slotted in a sublime headed own-goal.

But that victory was the third win in as many meetings with the nation, and if England can secure victory during a poor 2010 World Cup campaign, surely they can do the same when in such a rich vein of form.

Then comes the free hit that is (or should be) San Marino, with England holding an 18-0 aggregate lead from their last three meetings.

Following that Roy’s Boys face arguably the toughest test of their remaining games, a visit of Switzerland.

A Welbeck double sealed the deal in Bern in what would have been mooted as the hardest fixture in qualifying, and with England winning their last five at Wembley, a double over Vladimir Petkovic’s side is not out of the question.

So to round off our campaign of wins it’s a simple matter of a home tie against Estonia.

The Sinsargid  have only netted once in their last seven matches on the road, and defeats to Qatar and Lithuania won’t have filled them with much confidence ahead of their finale against England.

Backing England to triumph on Friday won’t make you rich, but taking in a Ladbrokes special will certainly get you there quicker.
