Cricket World Cup: Scotland face last chance for win in Nelson

The only Associate victory over a Test-playing nation in this World Cup so far came at Nelson, when Ireland embarrassed the West Indies. As Scotland head there for a Pool A encounter with Bangladesh, they will be hugely buoyed by that fact.

Backing the first Tigers wicket to fall before 27.5 runs have been scored is therefore the best bet of the day at 5/6, although the same price on Scotland having the higher opening stand with the benefit of a 5.5 run head start also appeals.
Key to Scotland’s better opening stand will be Kyle Coetzer, who leads the side for runs scored in the tournament and struck a brutish 71 against England two outings ago.
