Top 4 finish won’t be easy but that’s the aim for Hull KR’s Campese

Hull KR may have run out 10-point losers in their season opener with Leeds but captain Terry Campese feels the Robins can push for a top four berth this year.
The Australian powerhouse, new to the captaincy this term, says the new Super League system means all 12 top flight teams will face new challenges but the top four should be everyone’s aim.
In an interview with Ladbrokes News, the 20-year-old also reveals his admiration for compatriot Joel Monaghan and reveals who will have a big impact at Craven Park in 2015.
What would be a successful season for Hull KR in Super League XX?
Success would be a top four finish. That’s where you want to finish to give yourself the best opportunity to play in the final series. I think that should be every team’s goal I guess. It’s going to be a long year, especially with the new format but top four is where we’re aiming.
If you could pick any other Super League player to sign for Hull KR this year who would you pick and why?
I’d have to choose Joel Monaghan. He’s a mate of mine and he scored a ridiculous amount of tries last year. To have someone who can finish your moves like he does would definitely help us.
Who will be the next big thing at Hull KR?
I think young Keiran Dixon. I think he’s an exciting talent and he’s got blistering speed. He’ll definitely be an entertainer. I know he’s new to full back and has a lot to learn but hopefully we can help him as a squad and you’ll see the best of him this year.

Probably when Joel played in it. That’s when I got hooked. I was supposed to come over for the game but had to have an operation. But seeing him win it was great.
