Head Coach: Iestyn Harris
A Super League and World Club Challenge winner with Bradford, Harris is vastly experienced in both codes and was named as Brian Noble’s successor at Salford after making his name in coaching through stints with Wales and Crusaders.
The Red Devils won just eight of their 21 games under the 28-year-old last year but with a host of new arrivals to complement Rangi Chase, who signed in 2014, there are high hopes for a top eight finish this time round.
Star Man: Rangi Chase
The New Zealand-born England representative chipped in with seven tries and 299 tackles last year but it was his role as chief provider that made him stand out from the crowd.
The 28-year-old set up 25 of Salford’s tries in Super League XIX a total bettered only by Castleford’s Marc Sneyd.
