Having splurged the bounty from selling Luis Suarez to Barcelona on a host of widely-recognised flops, Liverpool claim that they won’t be looking to remedy the problem on transfer deadline day.

Asier-2-2-15Having started just eight games for the La Liga giants, the Northern Irishman is considering offering £18m for the Spanish youngster to take up a more permanent role in the Reds’ starting midfield.

However the former Swansea tactician wishes to canvass the opinion of former Liverpool stalwart Xabi Alonso before making any moves for the midfielder.
