Friday TV accumulator: Dortmund revival to continue

Published:

Borussia Dortmund have finally turned a corner after winning back-to-back Bundesliga games to lift themselves out of the danger zone.

And, with bottom side Stuttgart next up for Jurgen Klopp’s men, the BVB revival looks set to continue in front of the BT Sport cameras.

The much-loved German club head up a tasty treble of Friday night TV action, with Rangers and Juventus also getting the nod.

Read on to see why the 4/1 on this trio is too good to pass up.

Stuttgart v Dortmund – Over 3.5 goals @ 7/4

With Dortmund back in the winning habit and boasting a four-year unbeaten run against Die Roten a win for the visitors is to be expected.

It could pay then to take the longer odds on a high-scoring affair, especially if past meetings are anything to go by.

Of the past nine encounters, five have seen at least four goals and the trend looks likely to continue with 16 goals coming in the last three clashes.

Rangers to beat Raith @ 4/6

At first glance a home win looks the most obvious pick here. Raith are unbeaten in seven, while Rangers have lost their last three on the bounce including a Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Grant Murray’s men.

But, on closer inspection the Gers look worthy recipients of their favourites tag. Raith have won just two of their last 10 home games in the league while Kenny McDowall’s side have lost just three of their last 10 on the road.

The recent Cup win might give the hosts some pre-game confidence but the 6-1 league hammering Rangers dished out in October last year could be a better sign of things to come.

Juventus to beat Atalanta @ 2/11

When it comes to banker bets few teams look more assured at home in world football that the Old lady of Turin.

Serie A leaders Juve are unbeaten in 39 games as hosts, winning an impressive 35 of those fixtures, and as such their 10-year unbeaten run over Atalanta is unlikely to be challenged here.

Since losing a Coppa Italia match in 2004, Juve have won 13 and drawn just two of their 15 meetings with La Dea.
