Now that’s what I call a Celebrity Big Brother Bust-Up

With one-time “Naked Jungle” presenter Keith Chegwin the joint favourite to win this month’s edition of Celebrity Big Brother alongside former X Factor contestant Marcus Collins, we’re rolling back the clock to recall some of the greatest ever rows to take place in the house.
Things got off to a great start in the first series with TV presenter/professional pain-in-the-arse Vanessa Feltz losing her nut after being nominated for eviction, before embarking on her very own chalk based version of “Falling Down” minus the machine gun mayhem.
Fast-forward to Series Three and we have two classic entries with the first involving ex-Channel 4 racing pundit John McCririck who waged a one-man war against Big Brother after not receiving his expected supplies of Diet Coke. Moody silence, temper tantrums and a YouTube dance remix followed.
In that very same series, viewers were treated to arguably the most iconic entrance in the history of the show with Brigitte Nielsen left stunned by the arrival of former mother-in-law Jackie Stallone, while an entire nation spent the next decade perfecting their “Yeah Brackie” impressions.
Series Five may be remembered for all the wrong reasons but it did at least provide some comedy early on, courtesy of 70s bouffant-haired berk Leo Sayer who exited early amid claims that a request for clean pants was ignored by Big Brother. He also happened to be up for eviction at the time…
After two rather tense series, the show got back to its best courtesy of the dynamic duo of Coolio and Vern Troyer, with the “Gangsta’s Paradise” wordsmith embroiled in one particularly amusing barney with Shameless actress Tina Malone.
“Tell me why are we, so blind to see, that the ones we hurt, are you and me.”
Troyer, to his credit, was keen to get in on the act and after one too many bevys one evening decided to pick a fight … with the Diary Room door. There was only ever going to be one winner and it wasn’t Mini-Me.
We move on to Series Nine and that most magical meeting of minds that saw Coronation Street actress and Loose Women favourite Denise Welch lock horns with Quentin Tarantino’s mate Michael Madsen for some truly bizarre bickering. At least she kept hold of her ears!
Series 11 saw the rows ramped up courtesy of Speidey – Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag – who clashed with almost everyone but picked the wrong man to rub up the wrong way in former footballer and human boulder Neil “Razor” Ruddock – the clue is in the name.
The next edition saw yet more arguments with Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby orchestrating the pick of the bunch when she locked horns with devil-lookalike and former Corrie star Vicky Entwistle. Crosby went on to win the show, with the British public evidently falling in love with the reality star after she managed to wet the bed. Bless!
13 was evidently a lucky number for Celebrity Big Brother with the 13th series of the show proving to be arguably the best ever.
One of the “plotlines” of the show saw Blue singer Lee Ryan two-time with “stars” Casey Batchelor and Jasmine Waltz (no I don’t know who they are either). Despite the latter’s early eviction the special “time freeze” task saw producers stoke the fires one last time as Waltz confronted the pop crooner.
However the truly iconic bust-up involved Jim Davidson, one angry Nolan sister and a mysterious anecdote involving Frank Carson’s dressing room…
The most recent series was not without incident either as Strictly Come Dancing star and professional t*sspot James Jordan threatened to go toe-to-toe with Audley Harrison.
And then there was the long-running battle between pint-sized George Gilbey and the ever-anarchic but rarely alluring Frenchy…
Winner Gary Busey also enjoyed his fair share of battles with one row pitting him against Benefits Street star White Dee in arguably the strangest meeting of minds ever. Seriously, watching this feels like some mad fever dream.
And with a fresh batch of housemates heading to a couple of weeks on in-house chaos, the odds on yet more confrontation look good.
