The Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton may be one of Saturday’s features but we are focusing solely on the action at Warwick as we bring you our best three bets for the day’s top equine action.

This contest has thrown up some top horses in the past, Deputy Dan, The New One and Claret Cloak taking the race in recent years.
A run of three straight wins was halted by the nostrils of Vyta Du Roc at Sandown last time out in the Grade 2 Winter Novices’ Hurdle.
That form has since been franked with his conqueror that day getting to within a neck of Parlour Games in the Challow Novices’ Hurdle.
The likes of Three Musketeers and Alisier D’Irlande could have the necessary improvement to mount a challenge, but with the form in the book, Warren Greatrex charge has to be the one to get on.
Deputy Dan will be a deserved favourite for this race, but we simply have to take him on.
He may have been 2nd in the Albert Bartlett on his only try at 3m over hurdle, as he steps up to the distance for the first time over fences, but his chase record so far has been very patchy.
The same can’t be said for It’s A Steal.
Evan Williams charge has been a real improver this season, winning his last two after finishing only behind Cody Wyoming (a winner this week) on his return after two years off.
He will need to step up again, but he seems to have come back in great nick, and could have the necessary progress in him.
It could be worth taking an each-way chance on Phil Middleton’s hardened stayer to upset the principles in the Classic Chase.
He took the race by the horns at Sandown to land the London National, flourishing in the soft conditions.
He was well beaten over Christmas at Kempton, but seemed to be caught flat-footed over 3m, so a step back up to a marathon trip might suit.
Off a lightweight of 10-03, he could be one with the most puff left coming up the home straight.
