NFL: Patriots ace boosted out of sight on Championship Sunday

Championship Sunday is upon us in the NFL, with just a few more plays left before Super Bowl XLIX at University of Phoenix Stadium.

You won’t get a better quote than 6/1 about Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch bagging the first six-pointer when the defending Super Bowl champions take on the Green Bay Packers at CenturyLink Field, with boosted odds available form 16.30 Sunday right up to kick off at 20.05 GMT.
Lynch topped the NFL pile for regular-season touchdowns with 17, but is yet to get off the mark in the playoffs having failed to fire in Seattle’s 31-17 win over the Carolina Panthers. He’ll be raring to go in Washington State.
Green Bay look a touch overpriced at 5/2 on the money line in this NFC clash, and are actually slightly longer odds now to win the Super Bowl, at 11/2, than they were at the beginning of the playoffs (5/1), which makes little sense.
Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who was just four behind Lynch with 13 regular-season scores, sees his first-touchdown odds bumped from 8/1 out to a whopping 12/1 during the same time-window.
Over in the AFC final, much-loved New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski gets boosted from 5/1 into a best-price 7/1 to touchdown first against the Indianapolis Colts, odds that come into effect from Sunday at 20.15 until 23.45.
‘Gronk’ touched down 12 times during the regular season and again last time out against the Baltimore Ravens, but for those in search of value, Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton could be the best boost in town at 14/1 from 10/1.
Hilton posted a respectable seven scores during the campaign and has in-form quarterback Andrew Luck chucking pigskin at him.
Colts will be hugely buoyed after their shock 24-13 defeat of the Denver Broncos. Again, the favourites look a tad short here, and nobody should be put off getting behind Luck and co in Massachusetts, where New England lost to the Buffalo Bills three weeks ago, at 21/10.
