League One accumulator: Bradford cup heroics won’t take their toll

Published:

Fresh from what was quite literally a bruising FA Cup encounter with everyone’s favourite London team – Millwall – Bradford are back in action this weekend.

Fortunately for fans of the Bantams, the Yorkshire club could be set for another good day at the office with a trip to bottom-of-the-table Yeovil on the cards.

It therefore stands to reason that Bradford should be backed in our latest League One accumulator effort, along with in-form West Country duo Swindon and Bristol City.

Rochdale round things off in a 15/1 accumulator tip that warrants your attention – read on to find out just why.

Rochdale to beat Crawley @ 7/10

Giant-killers in the FA Cup and gunning for a third consecutive win in all competitions, Dale will fancy their chances of doing just that against a struggling Crawley side that has gone 12 games without a win – manager John Gregory may be living on borrowed time.

Bristol City to beat Scunthorpe @ Evens

The Robins dispatched Doncaster in their FA Cup replay this week to make three wins on the bounce for Bristol City who have won nine of their last 11 games and beat Scunthorpe 2-0 earlier in the season. Their opponents have also won just two of their last nine at home.

Swindon to beat Chesterfield @ 17/20

Current League One leaders Swindon cruised to a 3-0 win away at Coventry on Monday and could be in for another good afternoon against a Chesterfield side likely to be tired after 120 minutes of FA Cup football in the week and who lost 3-0 to the Robins earlier this term.

Bradford to beat Yeovil @ 8/5

The Bantams romped to a 4-0 win over Championship Millwall in midweek and should have little to fear from a Yeovil side that has lost five games in a row coming into this fixture, scoring just a single goal in the process. Bradford are also on a run of three straight wins on the road in League One.
