The net result of the latest revelations has been the emergence of Abi Branning as the red-hot favourite in Ladbrokes’ ‘Who Killed Lucy Beale?’ market with the bookmaker reporting £10,000 worth of bets have been placed in the last week alone.

Max’s younger daughter is now the 3/1 favourite to be revealed as the killer in February’s 30^th anniversary episode.
