Still only 19, and competing for a start up front with three truly world class talents in Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie, it’s testament to Wilson’s ability that he’s made nine Premier League appearances this season.
Although the teenager is yet to add to his Red Devils tally so far during the current campaign, he’s not yet started a game.
The faith Louis van Gaal has showed in the young Englishman is evident though by the fact Wilson has come off the bench in massive games against Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool this term.
With an FA Cup tie at League One basement boys Yeovil now in the offing, Wilson is a prime candidate to get the nod from LVG which is reported by the Daily Telegraph.
