Everton v Manchester City: Lukaku to score in vain against Citizens

Having gone five games without a win Everton would welcome a relatively easy tie this weekend but instead welcome champions Manchester City to Goodison Park.
The Toffees have now tasted victory just once in 10 games and with the Sky Blues losing just once of their last 15 assignments it clear to see why the Citizens go into the game as 17/20 favourites.
Everton have had their fair share of success against City in the past, winning six of the last 11 ties, and could tempt at 10/3, while the draw can be backed at 11/4.
However, on current form a home loss looks the most likely outcome so here are three better bets to consider, courtesy of Ladbrokes News’ James Curtis.
City to win and both teams to score @ 12/5
With City unattractively priced for the win – even given their current form – it could pay to back the Citizens to pocket all points despite being breached at the back – exactly what they have done in their last four games.
Everton have failed to score just twice in 11 meetings with City and will expect to find the back of the net in front of their home fans.

Much of City’s fortunes this season can be attributed to the form of Argentine ace Sergio Aguero and his 16 Premier League strikes so far.
Kun is unlikely to be fit for this fixture, however, so the scoring mantle could once again fall to the unlikely James Milner, who netted both goals in City’s 2-1 FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday last time out.
Romelu Lukaku to score anytime @ 2/1
As mentioned above, Everton are highly likely to register at least a goals on Saturday and after ending his goal drought to fire against West Ham top scorer Romelu Lukaku is nicely priced to net again here.
The Belgian powerhouse now has eight strikes in all competitions this year and the chance to treble your money on a leading man on his own ground should not be ignored.
