I’m A Celebrity: Double eviction to spell trouble for the female campmates

Published:

So, we finally saw a predictable eviction with Vicki Michelle becoming the next campmate to leave I’m A Celebrity, and with two getting the boot tonight, the race to become King or Queen of the Jungle is hotting up.

One thing is for sure, the 1/4 on offer for a male winner looks banker material with Jake Quickenden and Carl Fogarty strengthening their position at the head of the market.

The duo delivered one of the few highlights on Thursday’s show, producing a laugh or two as they put their (admittedly poor) spelling to the test in the Dingo Dollar Challenge.

This all while dressed as bees, and attempting to navigate a floor covered in honey.

In triumphing they won letters from home for Kendra Wilkinson and Vicki Michelle.

Though how worthwhile that was remains to be seen with Vicki heading for the exit less than 24 hours later and Kendra the 4/5 favourite to be next out.

The Playboy bunny’s most likely campmate to join her out the door is Edwina Currie, with the pair 13/8 to exit tonight.

If the vote went the way of the market, that would leave Mel Sykes the only woman left in camp, and with the pressure of certain comments at dinner time getting to her, it can only be a matter of time before she snaps.

Mel’s odds of winning the show went out from 3/1 to 9/2 after last night’s show, with her increasingly prickly nature beginning to show.

So, with Jake (11/10) and Carl (5/2) firmly in the driving seat, while the price on Ant and Dec crowning a King rather than a Queen may seem short, it looks a sure-fire bet.

And with Tinchy Stryder (8/1) throwing himself into the bushtucker trial with aplomb, introducing himself as a potential dark horse, it looks highly likely a man will be crowned the winner for the second year in a row.

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
