Everton v Hull: Goals, a clean sheet and a half-time lead beckon for hosts

Published:

A win for Everton in their next match against Hull will propel them towards the top-six, completing their obligatory turnaround from the slow-start that so often kicks off their season.

They should feel quite confident of overcoming a Hull side that have lost their last four and are six without a win in the Premier League.

While a Toffees victory looks likely at 11/20 with Ladbrokes, we’ve found three alternative punts about the Merseyside club which look just as plausible, but hold far more enticing odds.

Everton to score 2 or 3 goals @ 21/20

The men from Goodison Park have scored at least twice in 14 of their last 16 games in their own stadium.

In fact, in the 25 home games that Roberto Martinez has presided over, his side have scored two or more in 19. However, they haven’t scored four at Goodison since beating Fulham 4-1 in December last year.

Everton to keep a clean sheet @ 23/20

Hull are enduring a worrying run infront of goal at the moment, having failed to score in four of their last five top-flight outings, they’ve also failed to find the net in half of their last six battles with Everton.

Everton to win the first half @ 1/1

Although their season has been one of gradual feet-finding, Everton actually take no time at all to settle in to their actual matches.

Only Chelsea would have more points in the division if all that counted were half-time results, with the Toffees winning the game at the refreshments stage six times from their 13 outings so far.
