Championship Accumulator: Watford and Charlton to pick up wins

Published:

Watford bounced back from a four-game losing streak in style last week with a 5-0 thrashing of Fulham and the Hornets are backed to kick on in this week’s Championship acca.

Fellow Londoners Charlton are also tipped to pile more misery on basement-dwelling Blackpool, while Ipswich are fancied to enhance their promotions credentials and Forest to extend Rotherham’s winless run in a fourfold paying out at a tempting 24/1.

Adding Leeds to beat Fulham at 6/5 not only pushed the odds to 66/1 but also means you’ll qualify for our 5+ Accumulator offer, which refunds losing stakes* if just one side lets you down.

Ipswich to beat Bolton @ 8/5

A run of just one loss in 16 games has seen Ipswich emerge as genuine title contenders and although Bolton are much improved, the Tractor Boys are the pick here.

The Trotters may be unbeaten in five but they lost seven of 10 before that and haven’t beaten Ipswich in four attempts.

Watford to beat Wigan @ 21/20

After losing four games on the bounce before smashing five past Fulham, Watford will hope for a return to the form that saw them go unbeaten in nine before their dip.

Wigan look exactly the side to facilitate such a return, with the Latics having won just one of their last 15 and conceding six points to the Hornets last year.

Charlton to beat Blackpool @ 19/20

The Addicks may have won just one of their last six matches but they’ve lost just once in 11 at The Valley and it’s hard to see defeat against bottom side Blackpool.

The Tangerines won last time out to end a run of seven games without a win but with just one victory from 25 away games this is set to be another miserable road trip.

Nottingham Forest to beat Rotherham @ 6/4

Neither side is in great form going into this tie but having taken seven points from the last 12 available Forest are at least showing signs of promise.

The hosts are winless in eight so the advice here is to back the visitors to take all three points back to the Midlands.
