Broncos @ Bengals: Denver’s dominance set to continue in Cincy

Published:

With a spot in the postseason up for grabs, the Cincinnati Bengals have a host of historical slights to overcome when they host the Denver Broncos on Monday Night.

After a long line of failure in night games, against the Denver Broncos and when facing Peyton Manning, there can be little surprise that all three of our best bets for the outing at Paul Brown Stadium involve the visitors:

Denver Broncos to win @ 10/19

The Broncos, who clinched their place in the postseason with victory over the San Diego Chargers last time out, have won 13 of their last 15 games against the Bengals and all of the last four battles with them.

In order to claim their own playoff place, a fourth in a row, Cincinnati must win. But considering the dire showing against their opponents, an 0-8 record against Manning and a two-game winless run in night games this season, that seems unlikely.

Peyton Manning to throw over 270.5 yards @ 10/11

As the 38-year-old quarterback clearly loves playing against the Bengals, backing him to torch them through the air with his eighth game of over 270 yards of the season makes sense.

Denver are averaging 289.4 passing yards per game this season, which helps Manning’s cause in securing the bet, while he has thrown at least three touchdown passes in five of the eight games he has played against them.

Broncos to score over 2.5 touchdowns @ 8/15

If Manning likes lobbing at least three touchdown passes against the Bengals on his own, then backing the Broncos to score that many as a collective is a no brainer.

Having managed 48 touchdowns on offense this season, Denver have remained one of the most potent attacking sides in the NFL this term, something this price doesn’t reflect.
