5 Things we’re looking forward to in the Premier League this weekend

The season is rapidly approaching its half-way point and sides up and down the division will be preparing themselves for a busy Christmas period.
And with Chelsea losing last week, Sergio Aguero facing a spell on the sidelines, and Manchester United appearing to have found a second wind, the weeks ahead should be intriguing to say the least.
Here are the five things we are looking forward to find out in this round of fixtures in the top-flight…
Are Manchester City a one man team?
It has been an almost choreographed response from pundits and players alike following Sergio Aguero’s injury; “Manchester City are not a one man team!”
But the stats don’t lie. The diminutive Argentine has popped up with nearly half of the Citizens’ strikes in the Premier League this season.
They may have plenty of stars to cope with his absence, but it is untold how they will maintain their pressure on Chelsea without their leading man.
Rack up a hat-ful against Leicester and the accusations will surely disappear.
Do Alan Pardew and Arsene Wenger like each other or not?
Following his bizarre claims that Arsenal should rename the Emirates Stadium after their under-fire manager, it appears the Newcastle boss has a lot of time for his French adversary.

Have Southampton been found out?
After surprising many with how well they have performed this season, despite the mass exodus over the summer, Ronald Koeman’s men have now picked up just one point in their last four games.
To be fair those games have been against the champions, their Manchester neighbours, Arsenal and Aston Villa, so they can hardly have been expected to record a full house.
Nevertheless, the way they were brushed aside against Manchester City and their failure to take chances against United will leave some Saints fans concerned.
Can West Brom slip out of their slump?
With one point all they have to show from their last five games, West Brom have slipped perilously close to the relegation zone.
Alan Irvine has come under increased pressure, and currently stands as Ladbrokes’ 9/2 second favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be given the boot.
Defeat against West Midlands rivals Aston Villa could well put the nail in the coffin for the Baggies boss.
Who will see red at Old Trafford?
It’s fair to say Manchester United and Liverpool are not the best of friends.
This season’s encounter may have been described by Gary Neville as like ‘The Dog and Duck v The Red Lion’, but you can always count on some fiery moments.
The last five meetings have averaged over five yellow cards a game, with two reds being shown in those meetings, and it’s 5/2 that someone gets their marching orders on Sunday.
Sometimes the match even brought grown men to tears…
