Tory odds improve in Rochester

For the first time in a while, we found a few people wanting to back the Tories to win the Rochester & Strood by-election today. As a result, their price shortened slightly from 14/1 to 10/1.
As things stand, it would be a tremendous result for Ladbrokes if the UKIP bandwagon was derailed next week; we’ve taken a fair bit of money on them at 1/25 and shorter over the last week or so.
We’ve also issued some odds on Labour’s vote share, which you can now back to be either over or under 15%.
Not a very difficult bar to clear, you wouldn’t think, but the polls are heading the wrong way.
