As the likes of Holland and Portugal have shown us in previous weeks, few things are guaranteed when it comes to the qualification phase for Euro 2016 in France, but that being said we’ve got a good feeling about this particular trio.
And the feeling is evidentially mutual with Ladbrokes offering an enhanced treble to those predicting wins for the European football powerhouses of Switzerland, Ukraine and England.
All three look primed for comfortable wins and have been boosted as such, with a treble backing victories for the dynamic trio moving from Evens with the bookmaker to 6/4.
England get the ball rolling at 5pm with Roy Hodgson’s side on the hunt for a fourth consecutive qualification win and clean sheet against a Slovenia team that has already suffered defeat to lowly Estonia in qualification.
The Three Lions beat Slovenia 1-0 in their only previous meeting at the 2010 World Cup and with the visitors on the receiving end of defeats in four of their last six, only one outcome looks likely.
Meanwhile, Ukraine can be expected to build on back-to-back wins when they visit Luxembourg, who lost 4-0 to Spain last time out at home in their group and are without a win in nine games going into this encounter.
From there it’s on to the 7:45pm encounters and another fixture that can surely be filed in the ‘banker’ category with England’s Group E rivals Switzerland hosting Lithuania.
The Swiss have made a slow start to qualification but after trouncing San Marino 4-0 they will be out to maintain the momentum against the visitors, who head into the game off the back of a 2-0 defeat away to Slovenia last time out.
