In-form Man United skipper part of boosted international treble

A special, international version of Ladbrokes’ increasingly famous Hitman Treble sees two of the most renowned strikers in the game, and one of the brightest, grouped together in anytime-scorer treble, with enhanced odds.

Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paco Alcacer can be backed to score in their respective Euro 2016 qualifiers at 10/1, a price that has been pushed out from an already tempting 7s. Here’s why each one can oblige the punt:

Wayne Rooney to score v Slovenia

The England and Manchester United skipper has found the back of the net in five of his country’s last nine internationals.

He has bagged at anytime in each of the Three Lions’ last two outings and looks a good bet to extend his streak against a Slovenia side that have kept just one road clean sheet in the last six.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score v Montenegro

The Swede has some considerable rust to shake off having missed almost two months with a heel injury but should be confident of doing so having notched seven goals in his first four games of the season.

The hosts should help the 2014 Puskas nominee clear the cobwebs, despite a three-game stretch of shutting out opposition attacks.

Those games came against Ghana, Iran and Moldova and The Brave Falcon shipped 10 goals in the three games prior to the run.

Francisco Alcacer to score v Belarus

Spain’s young striking hope must be glad to return to the national ranks, as his last experience of scoring came when representing Vicente del Bosque’s side against Luxembourg.

Since the last international break, in which Alcacer scored in both games, the Valencia man has gone scoreless in four outings.

He can get back to celebrating ways against Belarus, whose defence has been breached seven times in the last eight internationals.
