I’m A Celebrity: All change at camp but Bullard remains favourite

Published:

It’s been a busy time Down Under with two people leaving and two people coming this week, not to mention Tinchy Strider’s bushtucker trial.

Camp favourite Craig Charles has unfortunately followed Gemma Collins through the exit door after learning of a family bereavement and show producers quickly filled the void left by the Coronation Street and Towie stars.

Jake Quickenden – off of X Factor – and Edwina Currie – off of John Major – are the new contestants and have been priced up at 14/1 and 25/1 respectively to win the show.

Quickenden is a perennial flop, having tried and failed to make it in the worlds of football, television presenting and singing, but I’m A Celebrity executives hope he will prove TV gold.

The wannabe has revealed that he was shocked to have been given the opportunity to join the show and refused to rule out a fumble in the jungle with romance on the single lad’s mind.

Amid all the comings and goings diminutive rapper Tinchy Stryder made himself look a little bit bigger with a brave showing in his bushtucker trial.

Faced with rotting meat, fish guts, lizards, snakes, mud crabs and cockroaches the grime artist managed to win four of the seven stars available.

That he traded the stars to ensure Gemma Collins’ release – only for the Towie coward to quit the show – could endear him further to viewers, making him a value bet at 12/1.

The market lead, however, continues to be held by Jimmy Bullard who treated the camp to his well worn party piece of pulling his shorts up to his chest Simon Cowell style.

The football funnyman has been picked once again to face the bushtucker trail – this time alongside former Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson – and given the hilarity of his last attempts we’re in for another entertaining night.

Bullard looks the man to beat at 7/4, but with Melanie Sykes and Carl Fogarty for company at 2/1 and 7/1 respectively the ex-Wigan man still has his work cut out.
