Europa League Accumulator: Feyenoord and Sevilla stand tall
The Champions League’s ugly sister is back once again this week and we’ve got a Europa League accumulator for you to enjoy at odds of just under 17/2 with Ladbrokes.
Continental competition can often be tricky to predict but we’ve applied the old adage “home is where the heart is” to help us come up with this latest offering – though the meaning of that maxim may be slightly misplaced in this instance.
Nevertheless, with air flights and coach travel likely to take their toll on the visiting opponents, here are five big teams tipped for home wins.
Don’t forget, should just one of the five fail to win, then Ladbrokes will refund your original stake as a free bet!*
The Dutch went down 3-1 in Croatia, following an unprecedented 13-minute hat-trick from Andrej Kramaric, but must be backed to win in Rotterdam. Feyenoord are on a four-game winning run at home while Rijeka lost their only away game so far in this competition to Standard Liege.
Fresh from a 1-0 win over Bastia in Ligue 1, Guingamp will fancy their chances against the Belarusians, having come close to snatching a win last time they met. PAOK have already been put to the sword at Stade du Roudourou and they beat Dinamo 6-1 earlier in the group stage.
The surprise package of this year’s competition, Legia could and should probably have been playing in the Champions League after picking up three wins from three. Currently on a five-game win streak, they should be able to see off a Metalist side they already beat in their own back yard.
The holders may have suffered a couple of wobbles on the road with draws against Rijeka and Standard but now back at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan we fully expect normal service to resume with Sevilla winning each of their previous five outings at home in all competitions.
The Wolves may have had a howler in their first game against Everton but have hit top form in recent weeks and head into this game having won six games in a row. Having beaten Krasnodar 4-2 in Russia, we fully expect them to see off the same side back in Germany.
