Euro 2016 accumulator: England and Sweden both set for wins
Roy Hodgson’s boys lead our latest Euro 2016 qualifying accumulator with England tipped for a win over Slovenia at Wembley along with four other picks covering the majority of Saturday’s games.
With Switzerland, Sweden and Slovakia all backed to pick up three points alongside a draw between Austria and Russia this fivefold is available at odds of just over 20/1 with Ladbrokes.
Best of all, the bookmaker’s accumulator offer means that should one of the five fail to win, then they will refund your original stake as a free bet* – read on to find out why you would be daft to miss out on this fine tip in the absence of any Premier League action.
Roy’s boys have won each of their last four games comfortably and with Slovenia starting their qualifying campaign with a 1-0 loss away to Estonia, an England victory should be academic, with the Three Lions winning the only previous meeting between the two teams at the 2010 World Cup.
Though it’s rare for me to tip up a draw, the current form exhibited by these two suggests a stalemate is on the cards. Austria have drawn three of their last four at home while two of Russia’s opening three qualifiers have ended as stalemates and both have drawn with Sweden already.
Top of Group C after three wins from three – including a victory over holders Spain – Slovakia will be confident of continuing their fine form against a Macedonia side that has lost two of their opening three qualifiers and only just beat Luxembourg in a narrow 3-2 win.
Montenegro have made a slow start to qualifying thus far having been held to a draw by lowly Liechtenstein before slipped to defeat against Austria last time out. Unbeaten Sweden had no problems in their win over the former and held the latter to a draw so will be confident of the win.
Switzerland finally got their campaign up and running with a 4-0 win over San Marino and will be expected to beat a Lithuania side that lost 2-0 at home to Slovenia last month. England are the only team to beat the hosts on home soil in the last six years, though, so the Swiss will be confident.
