Djokovic to extend flawless run with 2-0 Paris Masters win

Published:

World number one Novak Djokovic looks to be in awesome shape to defend his Paris Masters title when he takes on Milos Raonic in the last ATP event of the season before the Tour finals in London.

Here are three bets to accompany the action from the French capital:

Djokovic to win 2-0 @ 8/15

The world number one is yet to drop a set at the tournament he has won twice before, including the last edition.

He’s been particularly impressive in the last two rounds, defeating an in-form Andy Murray before sweeping aside US Open finalist Kei Nishikori 6-2, 6-3 in the semis.

In nine sets of tennis against Raonic in their previous three meetings the Canadian has only managed to take a single one off the Serb over those three defeats.

To win the first set and win the match: Djokovic @ 3/10

While the right-handed seven-time Grand Slam winner is a force to reckon with on any surface, he’s currently on a phenomenal run of 26 straight victories on indoor hard courts.

The Wimbledon champion also has the added incentive of joining an elite group of players who have won 600 ATP Tour matches should he beat Raonic.

Djokovic to win @ 1/5

Although this isn’t a show-stopping price it’s definitely worth a decent stake as a covering bet for the others two.

Djokovic has a chance to make it 20 ATP Masters tournament wins should he successfully defend his title.
