Arsenal fans would have feared the worst when they saw Danny Welbeck pull up clutching his left hamstring in England’s 3-1 friendly win over Scotland but he should be fit enough to take centre stage against Manchester United.
Welbeck’s injury concerns will be a worry to Arsene Wenger and his side but they have been boosted by the return of striker Olivier Giroud and captain Mikel Arteta as they look to get their season back on track.
Both sides will be determined to pick up a much needed three points after the international break and it’s Wenger’s men who are the 6/5 favourites with Ladbrokes. United, who are bereft with injuries heading into this clash, are the 23/10 outsiders with the draw available at 12/5.
