West Brom v Crystal Palace: Berahino to continue run

Published:

West Brom entertain Crystal Palace this weekend and with the Eagles in a patcy run of away form star Baggie Saido Berahino will be confident of extending his goalscoring run.

The England U21 international is in fine form and gets the nod as one of our best of the day in a game that sees the hosts priced at 11/10 to secure all three points.

Palace are available at 16/5, with the draw on at 5/2 and the later of these should certainly tempt as one of Ladbrokes News’ three best bets on the game.

Draw @ 5/2 (or score draw @ 18/5)

West Brom may be favourites for the win but winning isn’t something they’ve done often at the Hawthorns of late.

Alan Irvine’s men have won just three of their last 18 Premier League fixtures in front of their home fans, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been hard to beat.

The Baggies have lost just three of their last 15 as hosts but drew an incredible nine games during that run making a share of the spoils a tempting selection at the odds.

Saido Berahino to score anytime @ 13/8

This is a cracking price for a player in red hot form. As mentioned above Berahino has bagged six strikes from six games in the league so far, including a strike against Manchester United last time out, and will be difficult for the Eagles to contain here.

The 7/1 on him opening the scoring also tempts but seeing has he hasn’t achieved the feat once this season it’s the shorter priced option that makes more appeal.

West Brom to win and BTTS @ 3/1

While the draw is a sensible option, given the Baggies penchant for sharing the points, should Berahino continue his form there is only one likely winner of this match.

Palace have won just one of their last five away games but have proven they have enough to  trouble the Baggies’ back four with their recent form.

Neil Warnock’s men have scored in four of their last five outings but have conceded in as many games during that run. West Brom have seen both sides net in three of their last four matches making this a solid pick.
