A shock Iceland win over Holland leads our Euro qualifier acca

Published:

There isn’t too much longer to wait until Premier League football returns to betting slips across the land, but in the mean time there is the last few remaining Euro 2016 qualifiers to negotiate.

How much of a warchest punters take into the their attack on the top flight will depend on how their accumulators in the final matches of the international break go and we’ve got a treble paying out at just short of 16/1 that could significantly boost the coffers.

Czech Republic to beat Kazakhstan @ 2/5

Every sandwich needs bread, every cocktail needs an umbrella and every accumulator needs a banker; Czech Republic are ours.

Despite taking the lead against Holland, the Kazaks still ended up with a 3-1 defeat and the Tomas Rosicky-led Czechs should continue their impressive start to Euro 2016 qualification.

They’ve won both outings so far, against the Dutch and Turkey, and are picked to prevail here.

Belgium to beat Bosnia @ 6/5

Bosnia’s start to their qualification group has been bumpy. After suffering shock defeat to Cyprus they were then held to a goalless draw with Wales.

Belgium have only had one assignment in the group so far, but passed it effortlessly with a 6-0 thumping of Andorra. They haven’t conceded a goal since the end of the World Cup.

Iceland to beat Holland @ 9/2

While the bread provides the foundation of a sandwich, it’s the filling where the real magic lies and picking Iceland to pip an out-of-sorts Holland side couldn’t be more jazzy for this betting concoction.

Iceland have won all of their last three games to nil and are particularly comfortable at home, where they’ve failed to win just twice in the last seven games.

The Dutch have been far from impressive since sealing the bronze medal in Brazil, and have lost all of their last three on the road.
