Man United v Chelsea: Costa fitness won’t affect Blues

Chelsea could be without Diego Costa when they head to Old Trafford this weekend or may start the striker despite is illness concerns but with or without their star man the Blues are fancied for the win.
The Red Devils have been patchy this term, beating QPR, West Ham and Everton but dropping points to the likes of Burnley and West Brom and unbeaten Chelsea will simply have too much for the hosts to cope with.
This is reflected in the odds, with the Blues favourites to win at 7/5, with the hosts on at 19/10 and the draw available at 5/2.
But here Ladbrokes News’ James Curtis digs a little deeper to bring you three of the best bets for the match.
With Costa and Loic Remy both doubtful to start the game the baton will fall to Didier Drogba to lead the line. The giant Ivorian used to terrorise United but is a shadow of the player he once was.
As such, Eden Hazard – the last man still at the club to score a goal against United – is the most tempting pick to either open the scoring or net at any time.
The Belgian comes into the game in decent form, having scored three goals in his last four games including a Champions League brace last time out.
While Chelsea look set to win this game there is nothing to suggest it won’t be a high scoring affair and that could play into the hands of United’s Colombian hitman.
Falcao was rested for much of the 2-2 draw with West Brom and has run Chelsea ragged in the past.
While at Atletico Madrid he scored a hat trick in a 4-1 Super Cup win over the Blues in a game that must still give Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic – who featured that day – nightmares.
With such an array of attacking talent available and United’s defence still struggling to gel it looks as though Chelsea will run out winners of an all action, high scoring match and a 7/2 this is one bet that’s too good to ignore.
