Lille v Everton: On-loan Origi set to shine for hosts

Published:

Everton ended a poor run of results with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Aston Vila last time out but the Toffees could come crashing back down to earth in Europe this week.

While Roberto Martinez’s side were worthy winners over the Villans their draw with Krasnador in the last round of ties indicates things may not go their way in Europe this year.

The Goodison Park outfit go into their meeting with Lille as 21/10 underdogs, with the hosts available at 27/20 and the draw priced at 2/1.

However, Ladbrokes News has trawled through the markets on offer to bring you three of the most tempting bets on the game.

Lille to win and both teams to score @ 17/4

Lille may be winless in three games but their home record in the competition is outstanding.

The hosts have lost just once in 15 Europa League matches in front of their own fans and should improve that record against an Everton side that has won just two of their last eight on the road in Europe.

The Toffees have managed to score in 13 of their last 14 fixtures in all competitions, however, and with Lille conceding in four of their last five this looks the bet of the night.

Divock Origi to score first @ 6/1

The 19-year-old Belgian is on loan from Liverpool and nothing would endear him to the Anfield faithful more than a goal against their Merseyside rivals.

Origi looks a solid bet at the prices too having netted five times already this season, with four of those goals coming first in Lille’s matches.

Wincast – Origi to score anytime and Lille to Win @ 10/3

Lille’s exemplary home record, Everton’s dodgy away from in the competition and Origi’s current form are all mentioned above and at 10/3 it’s worth taking a punt on all three combining at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
