Mario Balotelli – Basel v Liverpool
Super Mario hasn’t quite been at his best since swapping the San Siro for Anfield, but the one goal he has scored in his Liverpool career came in the Champions League, so that’s a plus.
Luckily for the stuttering Italian, Basel’s defence basically consists of a mixture of jelly and blancmange so there should be ample opportunity for the former Citizen to add to his tally.
Cristiano Ronaldo – Ludogorets v Real Madrid
While Balotelli struggles to locate his scoring boots, the world’s best player has never taken his off.
Ronaldo has 13 strikes to his name in just nine outings for Los Blancos this term and is on a six-game scoring streak in which he’s netted 11 times.
