Falcao boosted to score the first goal against Everton!

There are few strikers in world football with more glittering CV’s than Manchester United summer signing Radamel Falcao, who is boosted to score the first goal against Everton in the Premier League.

United’s Colombian superstar has already been tipped to notch the opener at Old Trafford by our very own James Curtis, but at enhanced odds there’s simply no excuse not to jump on.

Ladbrokes have boosted Falcao from 7/2 to 9/2 to break the deadlock against the Toffees in the televised Sunday lunchtime kick-off.

Of course, the former Atletico Madrid man is yet to pop his scoring cherry for his new side, but he’s played well enough in three appearances and the stats are very favourable.

Only once since 2011 has the Colombian seen a drought extend beyond a run of four games, such is his prowess in front of the onion bag.

Furthermore, Falcao’s no stranger to pleasing the home support as 12 of his last 17 competitive strikes for Monaco were scored in front f his own fans.

We’ve already seen ‘The Tiger’ come within inches of netting a sublime effort against Leicester, only to be denied by the woodwork, and with Wayne Rooney suspended for the games he’ll relish the spotlight.

Louis van Gaal will almost certainly draft Juan Mata in as a straight replacement in Rooney’s new number 10 role, where Robin van Persie should operate alongside Falcao up front.

Mata is a 15/8 pole to add to his pair of league strikers so far this season.
