X Factor: Jake the natural choice in next elimination betting

Published:

First it was Blonde Electra and then last week Steph Nala left this year’s X Factor competition. Both were widely tipped to get the boot and once again it appears as if the favourite in the next elimination market will receive their marching orders.

Jake Quickenden is the act in the firing line with Ladbrokes going 7/4 that the Scunthorpe singer exits the stage for the final time.

This is the 26-year-old’s second shot at X Factor glory having made it to Judges’ Houses in 2012.

And while he can be proud of making it to this year’s live shows it looks as if Jake is finally heading to end of the line.

Here’s our rundown of those under threat (according to the bookmakers at least):

Jake Quickenden @ 7/4

He’s got the looks and the personality to be a success but sadly Jake is missing one key ingredient – decent vocals.

His live show performances of She’s the One and Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart failed to blow the judges away.

Needs a massive night to save himself from elimination.

Stevi Ritchie @ 4/1

Not only is this guy comedy gold, the show’s producers will be keen to keep the 34-year-old entertainer on our screens for as long as possible.

So he can’t sing and his dancing would make your dad feel embarrassed! Who cares?

Stevi is the people’s champion, he’s our champion and long may he continue to be a part of our Saturday night viewing.

Stereo Kicks @ 6/1

Forced into a sing-off with Chloe-Jasmine Whichello last week, the eight-piece boyband enjoyed a close shave before eventually being saved.

It’s an experience they’ll be anxious to avoid as well as being a lesson for mentor Louis Walsh.

The Irish pop impresario has already lost two of his four acts but it’s unlikely that this particular one will be leaving just yet.

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
