Championship Accumulator: Ipswich and Derby tipped

Published:

Ipswich look the pick of the bunch from the Championship schedule this weekend with the Tractor boys being handed what looks an easy task against Huddersfield.

Mick McCarthy’s men are the cornerstone of this week’s second tier accumulator, with Bournemouth, Derby, Watford and Reading also tipped to win.

At odds of 42/1 this is an acca that should certainly tempt and with Ladbrokes offering money back as a free bet if just one side lets a 5+fold bet down there’s even more reason to get on board.

Ipswich to beat Huddersfield @ 20/21

Ipswich are in great form having lost just once in eight outings. The Tractors Boys have won five of their last seven at Portman Road and conceded just one goal in four games in front of their own fans.

Huddersfield are unbeaten in five but with just one win in for away games looked destined to defeat here.

Bournemouth to beat Birmingham @ Evens

Bournemouth are knocking on the play-off door after a run of five wins from six games in all competitions and will fancy their chances at St Andrews where the won 4-1 last year.

Birmingham have won one of their last 12 fixtures and just one of 24 in front of their own fans so expect a Cherries win again.

Derby to beat Wigan @ 4/5

The stats speak for themselves in this tie. The Rams are unbeaten in 12 and at home against a Wigan side with no wins from eight games and six losses from eight games on the road in the league.

Reading to beat Blackpool @ 8/11

Reading are winless in seven but won six of eight before that run and should return to winning way against basement boys Blackpool.

The Tangerines have won just one of their last 16 games so chances for reading to bounce back won’t come much bigger than this.

Watford to beat Middlesbrough @ 13/5

This is a gem of a price considering Watford are unbeaten in seven and took four points off Boro last year.

The Riverside outfit aren’t in bad form but a 2-0 reverse at the hands of Wolves last time out could see some doubt creep in ahead of the Hornets’ visit.
