Poland v Scotland: Scots to maintain top record in Warsaw

Published:

Scotland’s revival continued with a 1-0 win over Georgia at the weekend but they face a much sterner test against Germany’s conquerors Poland.

But Gordon Strachan and co will have fond memories of the Stadion Narodowy  after their 1-0 friendly win last March and they are 7/2 to pick up another win in Warsaw.

Poland are 17/20 to follow up their impressive victory over the Germans with another three points and the draw is on at 21/10 but we are backing the Scots for a result in our three best bets of the night!

Scotland and draw @ 17/20

Scotland boast a proud record in Poland losing just once in five matches in a record stretching back to 1958.

Gordon Strachan’s men are unbeaten on their last two trips to Warsaw and with their recent form, it could pay to back them in the double chance market at 17/20.

Scotland to win 1-0 @ 8/1

The Tartan Army have suffered just one defeat in their last eight international matches and with this run including a 1-0 victory over Poland back in March confidence of a result in Warsaw will be high.

And with three of their last five matches ending in a 1-0 win we are backing Scotland for a repeat performance and to win by this slender margin once again.

Scott Brown to score anytime @ 17/2

While the Celtic midfielder has not scaled the goal scoring heights so far this season he has plenty of experience of finding the back of the net against Poland.

The Scottish skipper, who scored six times last season, bagged the only goal of the game in the two sides’ previous encounter and while we are not backing him to score first again here, we like the look of the price for the 29-year-old to score at anytime.
