Price Boost: Welbeck and Balotelli both enhanced to net first

This weekend sees two of the biggest derbies in the Premier League take place and Ladbrokes is getting in on the action with another timely Price Boost.

Liverpool welcome Everton to Anfield for Saturday’s early kick-off and Arsenal entertain Tottenham at 17:30 and the bookmaker has enhanced the hosts’ hitmen to open the scoring in both games.

Mario Balotelli was a 4/1 shot to fire the Reds into the lead against the Toffees but the former Manchester City and AC Milan ace is now a tempting 6/1.

Balo may have only netted once in five outings since swapping Serie A for the Premier League but that goal came first in Liverpool’s European clash with Ludogorets.

The Italian netted 19 times for club and country last term though, with five of those strikes opening the scoring and Everton could be the perfect team for him to open his domestic account with the Reds.

The 24-year-old scored the opener for City against the Toffees in a 2-0 win in the 2011-12 campaign and at 6/1 should be backed to do the same here.

While Liverpool will be hoping Balotelli can fire them to glory Arsenal will be pinning their hopes on Danny Welbeck.

The £16m summer arrival has hit three goals in eight games for club and country this term and opened the scoring four times for Manchester United last term despite largely being deployed out wide.

Now playing in his favoured central striker role the England man is up and running for the Gunners and will be keen to endear himself to the Emirates faithful with a goal against their deadly rivals.

Welbeck has had previous success against Spurs, scoring against the White Hart Lane outfit for United last season and with Ladbrokes boosting the striker from 9/2 to 6/1 to open the scoring there a few better value bets for this tea time thriller.
