Man United v West Ham: Revival may come but Reds are no value

Probably still wondering what happened last Sunday, Manchester United fans will be praying that their team can put the woes of Leicester behind them when West Ham visit Old Trafford.

But with defensive issues continuing to haunt Louis van Gaal, it looks likely to be a case of more shuffling of the pack, with youngster Tom Thorpe rumoured to be in line for a start at the back.

Now while jumping on a ‘Manchester United are rubbish this season’ bandwagon is easy enough to do, a backlash from the Red Devils is never far away.

Nevertheless there is no doubting their world class front line. With the likes of Radamel Falcao, Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria on the pitch, it would be a shock if Adrian wasn’t picking the ball out his net at some point on Saturday afternoon.

To further add fuel to the fire, both sides have scored in four of West Ham’s five Premier League ties this season, with that pattern looking likely to continue.

Diafra Sakho to score anytime @ 16/5

A peach of a signing from Big Sam, Sakho has made no meal of his jump from the French second division to the top tier of English football.

With a goal in each of his starts for the East London club, the Senegalese striker could become something of a cult figure amongst the club’s faithful.

His movement will no doubt trouble a ropey Manchester United defence, and considering his price to score anytime is bigger than that of RVP (11/4) or Falcao (3/1) to score first, he looks cracking value to get on the scoresheet again.
