League One accumulator: Bristol City and Bradford are back!

Published:

This Saturday’s offering has all the usual suspects involved including Bristol City,  Peterborough, Bradford and Fleetwood Town and while the film of the same name offers up plenty of twists and turns to the viewer, we’re pretty sure this one is going to be played straight.

Available at odds of just over 14/1, this is one bet you will want to keep your eye on.

Bradford to beat Yeovil @ 11/10

The Bantams may have suffered a 1-0 loss to Oldham in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday but don’t let that result put you off backing one of the form teams in League One to pick up where they left off with victory over a Yeovil side with one win in their last seven.

Bradford are just two points off the top going into this game and, prior to that Latics result, had won three of their last four competitive games – including a 2-1 triumph over Leeds United.

Bristol City to beat Scunthorpe @ 8/13

It’s starting to feel like Bristol City are becoming a permanent fixture of the Saturday League One accumulator and on current form they could be set to extend their stay, with the Robins currently unbeaten in the division this season.

Scunthorpe may have put Chesterfield to the sword in the JPT but their league form leaves a lot to be desired with The Iron winning just one of their opening five league fixtures and yet to triumph away from Glanford Park this term.

Fleetwood Town to beat Oldham @ 7/4

Another high-flying League One club to lose in the Football League Trophy, Fleetwood may have slipped from the summit of the table after draws with Chesterfield and Leyton Orient but Graham Alexander’s team remain a force to be reckoned with on the ball.

The Fishermen have already beaten Scunthorpe and Notts County on the road and have yet to concede a goal in 90 minutes away from Highbury Stadium. The Latics, meanwhile, have won just once in League One this season and have yet to triumph at Boundary Park.

Peterborough to beat Port Vale @ 4/6

The Posh may have been put to the sword by Orient in their midweek Johnstone’s Paint Trophy clash but with four wins from their first five games in League One this term, the current league leaders should be confident of seeing off a Port Vale side on a run of three straight defeats.

Peterborough have found the net in each of their five league fixtures so far this term and that run looks set to continue against a Vale team without a clean sheet this season.
