Hull v West Ham: The Hammers sweep our recommended bets

Published:

A host of new signings can be paraded at the KC Stadium when West Ham come to visit, with the four men Steve Bruce bought on transfer deadline day all available to make their debuts.

With so many new faces to fit into his team though, we think the Hammers will spoil the celebration with a win in our three best bets for the match:

West Ham to win – 13/5

In six previous battles between these two sides it’s the London club who have come out victorious more often, prevailing four times.

So far in this short Premier League season, the road has been a happier place for West Ham too, with their only win of the season coming away from Upton Park.

Hull, on the other hand, are the reverse having failed to win their only home game so far.

West Ham to score over 1.5 goals – 9/4

The Hammers aren’t known as particularly heavy scorers against any opposition, but seem to locate their scoring boots in games when the Tigers line up opposite them.

In all competitions against Hull, the Irons have scored two or more goals six times in the last seven meetings.

Carlton Cole to score anytime – 5/4

Cole has kept big-money acquisition Enner Valencia on the bench at the start of the season and scored in the side’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.

He’s scored three goals against Hull in the last five games against them and is nicely priced for an anytime striker here.
