Groves can bounce back with knockout win over Rebrasse
It seems strange to say this is the most important night in George Groves’ career despite him fighting Carl Froch at Wembley Stadium for the super middleweight championship of the world in front 80,000 fans, but that is exactly what it is!
Two straight knockout defeats to Froch has left Groves on the periphery of the super middleweight division but he has the opportunity to bounce back at Wembley Arena against European champion Christophe Rebrasse.
Defeat is unthinkable for Groves if he wants another crack at a world title and Ladbrokes are confident he will pick up the victory and earn a shot at the WBC belt.
With no appeal in backing Groves just to win at 1/10 Ladbrokes News have come up with a couple more bets which could appeal on the night.

There are doubts surrounding how Groves will recover from his two knockout defeats to Froch but his comeback against Rebrasse looks the ideal opportunity to get back on the right path.
The 26-year-old showed the power and speed he possesses during those two bouts with the IBF and WBA super middleweight champion and if he shows no signs of any long-term effects of his defeats then he has what it takes to stop his French opponent within six rounds.
Back in the first bout with Froch, Groves told everyone that he would hit the champion with two right hands early in the fight and that’s exactly what he did!
Within the first few minutes of the clash the Londoner rocked the champion and anyone but the warrior Cobra might not have recovered.
With Groves looking to make a fast start again as he looks to get his career back on track it might be worth putting a couple of quid at 40/1 on the Saint picking up a knockout within 60 seconds.
