Published:Everton were irresistible in the Europa League when thrashing Wolfsburg 4-1 and should be able to earn their first three points of the season at Goodison Park against a Crystal Palace team still shaken by Tony Pulis’ departure.
Ladbrokes certainly envisage an Everton win as they price Roberto Martinez’s side as 4/9 favourites, with the draw at 7/2 and Neil Warnock’s visitors as the 6/1 outsiders.
Uninspired by the match odds however, we’ve scanned the form and stats to offer three different paths to a profit on the Sunday afternoon game.

Everton were rampant in midweek and we fully expect the Toffees’ superior quality attack to come out on top by the time the final whistle sounds.
Nevertheless it’s been plain to see that the Merseysider’s backline has been a little vulnerable in the early throws, as they’ve shipped 10 goals in four top-flight matches.
Meanwhile, Palace will have fond memories of a 3-2 win at Goodison last season, while they managed a goal at Arsenal on the opening day and subsequently found Newcastle’s net three times at St James’ Park.

As mentioned above, Everton have offensive flair in abundance even in the full-back positions where Seamus Coleman is one of three Toffees who’ve already scored two or more.
Only Chelsea have notched more than the nine racked up by Everton in the league, while they’ve found the onion bag either side of the break in their last three games.

Naismith has grown in stature since his move south of the border from Rangers and is one of the aforementioned trio to have notched multiple times already with three to his name.
The Scot was only robbed of the opener against Wolfsburg because his heavily deflected shot went down as an own goal.
