Champions League: Arsenal win central to fivefold accumulator

Published:

It’s Arsenal and Liverpool who fly the flag for England in tonight’s Champions League matches and while it was Liverpool who made a winning start last time out, it’s the Gunners who we are backing to fire tonight.

The north Londoners take on Galatasaray at the Emirates Stadium in a game that could define their future in this season’s competition and we are backing Mesut Ozil and co to fire on all cylinders.

Arsene Wenger’s side join Zenit, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid in a fivefold paying at odds of just under 16/1 with Ladbrokes.

Read on to find out why you don’t want to miss out on this tempting selection of bets…

Arsenal to beat Galatasaray @ 11/20

It’s a must-win game for the Gunners after their opening day disaster in Dortmund and while they will be without Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta, Wenger’s men should still have enough quality to pick up three points against a Galatasaray side without a win in five European matches on the road.

Zenit St Petersburg to beat Monaco @ 8/11

Zenit are on a run of 14 games without loss and have not tasted defeat at home in all competitions this season.

Andres Villas-Boas’ side made an excellent start to their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 win over Benfica and they can make it two wins from two games against an inconsistent Monaco side.

Borussia Dortmund to beat Anderlecht @ 13/20

Anderlecht may be flying high in the Belgium Pro League but it’s been two years since they have tasted victory in Europe’s premier cup competition.

In contrast Jurgen Klopp’s side have won three of their last four matches in Europe away from home and are backed to follow up their impressive win over Arsenal in Brussels.

Bayer Leverkusen to beat Benfica @ 4/5

Both sides suffered frustrating defeats on matchday one of this year’s competition and both sides will be desperate to bounce back at the BayArena.

But with Benfica picking up just one win in their last nine matches on the road in the Champions League, back Leverkusen for all three points.

Real Madrid -2 @ 11/10

Ludogorets put up a really good show at Anfield against Liverpool but they face a much stiffer test against the goal kings of Europe.

Real Madrid have fired 20 goals in their last four matches and with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez pulling the strings, Los Blancos can easily defy a -2 handicap in Bulgaria.
