League Two: Burton to prove too strong at home for Dagenham

Published:

The Premier League may kick-off this weekend but the Football League is in full swing and after a slow start on the accumulator front last week Ladbrokes News are determined to get back on track this week with another League Two acca.

Burton are joined by Cheltenham, Luton and Morecombe in this weeks’ offering, available at odds of 15/1 with Ladbrokes.

And what’s more, our fantastic money back offer means if one team on accumulators of four more selections lets you down the bookmaker will refund your stake as a free bet.*

Burton to beat Dagenham @ 8/11

Gary Rowett’s team have had an excellent start to the season with an opening day victory over Oxford United and a superb 2-1 win over Championship side Wigan in the Capital One Cup.

The Brewers can continue that run of good form against a Dagenham outfit who were taken to extra-time in midweek and suffered a 3-0 opening day defeat to Morecambe.

John Still’s side have not tasted victory in any of their last six matches adding to the fact Burton look an excellent bet for all three points.

Cheltenham to beat Accrington Stanley @ 19/20

Cheltenham produced one of the surprises of the opening day with their 1-0 win over promotion hopefuls Bury and Mark Yates will be hoping his side make it two wins from two.

The Robins flattered to deceive at home last season but they can get off on the right foot this time around with victory over a struggling Accrington Stanley side.

Luton to beat AFC Wimbledon @ 10/11

Wins were few and far between for AFC Wimbledon on the road last season and Luton can take full advantage when the two sides clash at Kenilworth Road.

The Hatters suffered just two defeats at home in the Conference last season and after making their League Two bow with a 1-0 win over Carlisle, they will be in confident mood against the Dons.

Morecambe to beat Newport County @ 7/5

The Shrimps started their League Two campaign with a bang and will look to build on a 3-0 win away at Dagenham against Newport.

Jim Bentley’s side were the 4-1 victors when these two sides met at the Globe Arena back in March and after Newport’s disastrous start at Wycombe, Morecambe look worthy favourites for the win.
