Published:The Ebor Festival has reached its half-way mark, we may have already seen some of the best three-year-old colts and fillie around strut their stuff, but there are still plenty of opportunities to top up our accounts this week.
From the hard staying 2m trip of the Lonsdale Cup, to the mad 5f dash of the Nunthorpe Stakes there is something for everyone on the Knavesmire on Friday.

With talented claimer Joe Doyle on board, the Triumph Hurdle seventh will effectively be running off a 1lb lower mark than her last York run.
This Group level hurdler looks a top each way bet.
In what is such an open race, a chance on last year’s Gimcrack winner at York running into the money is worth a shot.
That Group 1 win followed his maiden victory on the Knavesmire and was followed up with a runner-up performance in the Clipper Logisitics Stakes last year.
You will need to forgive a stinker of a run last time out, but he is certainly intriguing on a first try at the minimum 5f.
Kevin Ryan’s charge finished ahead of Hot Streak in the Middle Park Stakes last season, yet is more than double the price.
He may find a few too strong, but cannot be ignored at the price.
