GAA Super Bonus Acca: Cork will rise to All-Ireland challenge

Published:

A heavy defeat to Kerry in Munster’s football final will have Cork smarting but we’re backing the Rebel County to bounce back in style in this weekend’s GAA Super Bonus Accumulator.

Fortunately for them, Brian Cuthbert’s side have the perfect opportunity to do just that in front of the Sky Sports cameras against Sligo.

And you can get involved with the action too by backing Cork, Galway, Limerick and Tipperary to do the business as part of our 5/1 acca.

Here’s why you should place your faith in these four selections:

CORK to beat Sligo @ 1/20 – All-Ireland SFC Qualifiers, Live on Sky Sports 3

Cork have the perfect opportunity to make a swift recovery from their nightmare performance against Kerry.

Sharp shooters Colm O’Neill and Donal Og Hodnett have both been included in the hosts’ line-up with six changes made in total.

And against a Sligo outfit who will be making a big step up in class, Cork look set to get their season back on track.

GALWAY to beat Tipperary @ 10/11 – All-Ireland SHC Qualifiers, Live on Sky Sports 3

Galway saw off the challenge of Tipperary in last year’s qualifiers and we expect a similar outcome when the pair meet again.

It won’t be an easy ask for the Tribesmen. Tipp have emerged as a surprise package following a hammering of Longford and impressive away victory at Laois in qualifiers.

But the youthful visitors remain a largely inexperienced unit and this could prove to be the difference between the two sides.

LIMERICK to beat Wexford @ 8/13 – All-Ireland SHC Quarter-Final, Live on RTE2

Limerick pushed Cork all the way in their Munster final before eventually losing out by six polnts.

A failure to convert their chances cost them.

But if they can be more ruthless in front of goal while maintaining the defensive solidity that’s served them so well they’ll have too much for Wexford.

The Yellowbellies are having one of their best seasons in years thanks to likes of up-and-coming talents such as Lee Chin and Conor McDonald.

However, their dream looks like coming to an end here against a strong Limerick outfit.

TIPPERARY to beat Dublin @ 4/11 – All-Ireland SHC Quarter-Final, Live on RTE2

You’re guaranteed entertainment when Tipperary are in town and this tie against Dublin is likely to be no different.

Having outscored both Galway and Offaly in two high-scoring qualifiers, Tipp can blitz their opponents with in-form Seamus Callanan and the returning Lar Corbett expected to do the damage.

While there are question marks over a leaky defence, Dublin don’t appear to be the team who will exploit these weaknesses.
